June 18 marked the opening day of CSPI-EXPO 2025, Japan’s leading trade show dedicated to construction and surveying machinery. Held at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, the event brings together the latest technologies, products, and solutions from across the construction and geospatial industries.
At this year’s show, EPiC LiDAR unveiled its full lineup of cutting-edge LiDAR solutions designed for both airborne and ground applications. The portfolio includes the T1000 Terrestrial Laser Scanner, the M05/M10 Handheld & Backpack SLAM Systems, and the X10 Multiple-Platform LiDAR, capable of seamlessly switching between handheld and UAV-based operations. Visitors from around the world were invited to explore and get hands-on with the technology.
The T1000 quickly became a show highlight. Designed and developed with proprietary technology, the scanner offers exceptional performance—measuring up to 1500 meters (extendable to 3 km) with sub-5mm accuracy at 100 meters. This makes it a powerful tool for high-precision applications such as BIM modeling, deformation monitoring, and high-rise construction.
Meanwhile, the compact M05 and versatile M10 drew strong interest for their ease of use and flexibility. With support for both handheld and backpack modes, they are ideal for indoor mapping, confined spaces, and complex environments where speed and portability matter.
Also making a strong impression was the X10 Multiple-Platform LiDAR, a lightweight solution that combines SLAM and UAV capabilities in one compact unit. Its flexible configuration and high cost-performance ratio make it a smart choice for surveyors seeking maximum versatility without compromising accuracy.
Throughout the event, the EPiC LiDAR team welcomed visitors with expert demos, real-world use cases, and one-on-one consultations—offering deep insight into how our technology helps solve real challenges in the field.
Participating in CSPI-EXPO 2025 is an important step for EPiC LiDAR as we expand our global footprint and strengthen ties with international partners. We’re committed to continuous innovation in 3D laser scanning and will keep delivering reliable, high-precision LiDAR solutions to professionals around the world.
