June 16, 2026 — MundoGEO Connect 2026, a leading geospatial technology event in Brazil, opened at the São Paulo Expo Center, bringing together professionals from surveying, mapping, and geospatial industries across Latin America.
For its first participation in the South American market, EPiC LiDAR showcased its high-precision 3D LiDAR solutions, marking an important step in expanding its global presence and connecting with regional industry professionals.

At the exhibition, the EPiC AXIM T150 Terrestrial Laser Scanner became one of the highlights, attracting attention for its lightweight design, high accuracy, and intelligent field workflow. Weighing only 3.3 kg, the T150 delivers a 150 m measurement range, 2 mm ranging accuracy, and supports automatic multi-station pre-registration, helping professionals improve efficiency in applications such as BIM, industrial digitalization, and cultural heritage documentation.

Designed for large-scale outdoor environments, the T1000 Long-Range Terrestrial Laser Scanner demonstrated its capability in challenging surveying scenarios, including mining areas, slopes, and mountainous terrain. With a standard measurement range of 1,500 m, expandable up to 3,000 m, and 5 mm ranging accuracy at 100 m, the T1000 provides reliable long-distance 3D data acquisition even in complex environments.

The W50 UAV LiDAR System also attracted interest from aerial mapping professionals. With a lightweight design of only 1.4 kg, support for seven-return LiDAR data acquisition, and efficient performance at typical flight altitudes of 450 m, the system provides a flexible solution for applications including forestry inventory, powerline inspection, and corridor mapping.

Throughout the exhibition, EPiC LiDAR’s integrated “air-to-ground” solution portfolio demonstrated how lightweight hardware, high-precision sensing, and intelligent workflows can support diverse geospatial applications. The team engaged with visitors to discuss project requirements, application scenarios, and potential cooperation opportunities.

MundoGEO Connect 2026 marks an important milestone as EPiC LiDAR enters the South American market for the first time. Through deeper understanding of local application needs and continued development of localized support capabilities, EPiC LiDAR will continue providing reliable 3D LiDAR solutions for partners and professionals across Latin America.
